Birthday and Easter

I'm cheating, this Wednesday isn't wordless. But the last post picture is too cute not to put up!!

My birthday and Easter were this past Sunday.

on Sat Rich and I went to Cirque de Soleil - very cool!!

Then we had dinner with Jamie and Ken at Ellendales

and finally the Easter Egg hunting pictures

Addison's Birthday

My first baby turned 7 this weekend. Addison is my God-daughter, her mom and I have been friends since the 6th grade. I have 4 babies in my life that don't belong to me and Addison was the 1st, and though she is no longer my baby - she is definitely my special little girl!

It is SO hard to believe my sweet little girl has grown up so fast.She is reading paperback novels - She loves Judy B. Jones books. She has already lost 2 baby teeth and is making straight A's in the 1st grade. I am so proud of her!

I often find myself in the middle of several reading projects, thanks to school, church and good ol' reading for pleasure.

Currently I am reading:

Text books: Evidence, Remedies, Property, and Civil Procedure

The entire book of Matthew, as part of a church challenge to spend more intentional time with God. I'm on Ch. 8 today.

28 Day Challenge

My Church issued a 28 day challenge - starting yesterday. There are 28 days til Easter, and 28 Chapters in Matthew - read a chapter a day til Easter.

Great for accountability!

Also for those wondering my birthday falls on Easter - so 28 days left to shop, but no shopping til you've read your chapter in Matthew :)
